Client Information

GilliSoft personnel have designed and created numerous applications for a vareity of clients. Despite being a small development shop, GilliSoft has applied their skills to several large entities. The following is a partial client list with an explanation of the services applied.

Pepsi Corporation

Custom online learning management system for Pepsi, Frito-Lay, and Tropicana users. System included separate and segmented content catalogs, pre-tests, tests, and reports among standard lms/cms features. Also created multi-media content for modules housed in system. Provided hosting and secure access to application, data protection, user support, and application administration. Application was created in classic Microsoft technologies including Active Server Pages, Visual Basic 6, and SQL Server 7.

 
Frito Lay

Multiple, separate learning management systems and content management system branded for different initiatives and targeted users within FritoLay. Application features included catalog, glossaries, resources, testing engine, and several other typical lms/cms features. Custom management reports were also created in all applications. All systems provide administrator controlled editors for user management, content management, and system preferences. Applications were created in classic Microsoft technologies including Active Server Pages, Visual Basic 6, SQL Server 7, and Microsoft Access. Custom content was also created for some of the systems to be used as course/module material. Previously developed CBTs and other existing content were also utilized. All systems are installed on location.

Multi-media trivia game to be distributed on CR-ROM and Intranet. Game utilized multiple choice responses from random questions. Scoring was weighted. Game runs by configuration files so Frito Lay could utilize as many instances of the game as they wanted with no vendor dependance. An editor was provided to create configuration files easily. Application was created using Macromedia Flash. Editor was created using Microsoft Visual Baisc 6.

 

 
Global Knowledge

Custom online learning management system and content catalog. Content can be pursued online, instantly purchased, or ordered through e-commerce transactions. Several custom routines for GK's business logic were implemented as well as a strong feature set for learning initiatives. The majority of application and initial contact was made will working at BizWorks, Inc. in Dallas, TX. After a merger, Global Knowledge became a client independently of BizWorks, Inc. (Attenza). The application was finished, tested, installed, and supported until Global Knowledge became self-sufficient with regards to all areas of the application. The application was created using class Microsoft technoligies including Active Server Pages, Visual Basic 6, and SQL Server.

 
Nortel

Custom online learning management system. Custom routines for Nortel's business logic were implemented as well as a strong feature set for learning initiaitives. The majority of application and initial contact was made will working at BizWorks, Inc. in Dallas, TX. After a merger, Nortel became a client through Attenza - the company that acquired BizWorks, Inc.. The application was finished, tested, installed, and supported until Nortel became self-sufficient with regards to the application. The application was created using clasics Microsoft technologies including Active Server Pages, Visual Basic 6, and SQL Server.

 

 
Tropicana

Oridion

Custom content modules in the form of a product known as "Virtual Seminar" marketed by LessonWise, Inc. of Dallas, Texas. Virtual Seminar encapsulated a talking head video and synchronized elements including transcript, and Power Point slides along with Oridion branding into a single element. These elements were included in a self-running CR-ROM with menu system as well as deployed on the Internet. All Virtual Seminars were created using Apple QuickTime. Menu system was created using HTML, DHTML, and Javascript. AutoRun executable was created using Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and .inf file was created using Notepad.

 

 
Florida Medical Quality Assurance, Inc.

Custom learning management system for physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals to receive certification training online. The system managed multiple user properties and presented custom content and data based on user roles. The system included pre-tests, tests, certification awarding, FAQs, Glossary, Catalogs, References, Resources and many other features. A large amount of custom reports were created for this system. Also provided LessonWise's Virtual Seminar, a synchronized multi-media presenter, for all course content in the system.

LessonWise, Inc.

Acted as LessonWise's technical provisions unit. All applications were sold by LessonWise, who outsourced the development to us. All applications were branded under the LessonWise name. Typical applications included custom Learning/Content Management Systems and the "Virtual Semiar" product for our MediaPanel application. We also provided technical and user support and consultation under the LessonWise umbrella.

 

 
i4cResults, Inc.

i4cResults was formed after former contacts existed LessonWise and were not under Non-Compete. The same kind of arrangement is currently with i4cResults as was LessonWise. i4cResults acts as a sales front. We provide all applications, support, and multimedia under their business umbrella.

 
Performance Solutions , Inc.

Created an online product offering for PSI targeted in the financial services market. Product is a customized Learning Management System and learning portal. The primary difference between this system and others is this system utilizes true curriculum tracking and content adjustment based on user progress. The system also presents a new online user role in the form of a trainer who can be assignment to one or more students and work online with them presented auxiliary resources and content or mentoring. The system marriages PSI's custom finanical services content for a total training and learning solution for this market space. The applications were created in classic Microsoft technologies including Active Server Pages, Visual Basic 6, and SQL Server 7 as well as .NET.

 

 
Sabine Parish School District

 

Sabine Parish School District
of Louisiana

Sabine Parish School District is comprised of thirteen schools. Four K-12 schools, three elementary schools, two middle schools, three high schools and an alternative school. A variety of educational programs provide students with many learning opportunities. Examples include pre-kindergarten programs and special education services. Custom applications built for them include an online inventory system for all schools in the district with Purchase Order tracking, deposition coding , and state tag management. A custom online repair request system faciliates the work order system for technology-related repairs. All requests are tracked against the inventory system. All technician actions are logged for performance measurement for management. Submitters make the request online, as well as track the repair status. This reduces time spent by technicians performing manual tracking and user-request management. A software and parts license management system to be integrated into both systems is in the specification process. The applications were created in classic Microsoft technologies including Active Server Pages, Visual Basic 6, and SQL Server 7 as well as .NET.

 
GameFu

Created a custom desktop application for GameFu to issue receipt awards for their game and movie rentals. The system also faciliates the tracking of a receipt for prize redemption and LPT printing to a proprietary receipt printer. The application was created in Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and Access.

 

 
eLearnToday

eLearn today was a complete hosted, subscription-based eLearning system with catalog, testing, discussion groups, glossary, resources, and full administrative control over content, aesthetics, and reports.
